I get the same error. Installed new windows 10 on new hard drive and it still fails
. system.IO.FileNotFoundException Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect. I've used the x86 version, run as administrator, etc. When I patch game, the GameEngine restarts after 5 seconds. Not sure if it's failing or installing the patch.
I would like a manual install so I know the files are there but I don't know where to look. I see this error other games and seems to be related to 64 or 32bit or legacy support.
