I understand the YAWVR-Calibration with iphone.
I understand the game engine and its plugins.
But what is the sense of OVRIE?

Motion cancellation can counteract the motion system's impact on the VR-headset. Essentially subtracting the rig's motion from your own. This is currently not officially supported by any of the major VR-headset manufacturers. But hacks are available
I don't believe any hacks are available for Oculus products. Also according to this article it doesn't seem likely that any hacks will help with Oculus products: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/trips-treatise-on-motion-compensation-and-enclosed-simulators.14150/
I noticed tonight the YawVR FAQ addresses this in the last question:
"... but for Oculus motion compensation is currently not available."
They also state that motion compensation is available for HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Pimax:
"Open VR emulator software and Yaw VR Open VR emulator software support motion compensation on certain brands (currently Index and HTC Vive). Pimax has their own motion compensation solution ..."
With help from YawVR community I got motion compensation working with my Quest2: http://forum.yawvr.com/discussion/142/motion-compensation#latest
